HISTORIAN - Heather Rau

Heather Rau has been a part of the WAM family since 2016. The group has been a major part of her life since she discovered it. She loves to fish, loves this wonderful group of woman, and loves what WAM as an organization brings to the community. She has lived in Minnesota her entire life and currently fishes for anything and everything aquatic. Crappie, Walleye, Northern, Trout/Salmon, Sturgeon, and Catfish have been her focus this year, but she loves a good curveball. Toss some Crayfish, Mudpuppys, Zebra Mussels, and Lampreys her way any day and she is thrilled. She dabbled in fishing before joining this group, but it would be truthful to say that WAM has taught her much of what she knows about the world of angling. She has grown as an angler and as a person because of WAM and it is her desire to give this organization her time and effort in return. It has been her honor to serve as the organization's historian in 2020 and she is further honored to serve as historian in 2021.
