I joined WAM in 2020 to participate in the Members only Ice Fishing tournament on Lake Darling. Ever since then, my passion for fishing has been ignited! I started fishing when I met my husband in 2017. Because of WAM, I have learned to set up a fish house on my own, how to choose appropriate bait and tackle, how to read lake maps, and many other helpful tips and tricks. The support, camaraderie and comfort WAM has brought me encourages me to try new things, meet new women and enjoy the sport of fishing. I look forward to serving on the WAM board to help other women just like myself gain the confidence to go out and fish!
