I grew up in an outdoors-loving family in central Minnesota and have spent my life fishing, hunting, and learning new outdoor skills/ techniques alongside my husband and three adult sons. I enjoy all types of fishing and am always eager to explore new waters and target new species, from Mille Lacs smallmouth and perch to Great Lakes salmon and brown trout. My favorite species include crappie and Muskie but my heart belongs to the sturgeon and I’ve been specializing in them since 2017.

Through the years I’ve been both a mentor and mentee, and I’m passionate about helping women of all skill levels grow in their angling skills. As a nurse, I value a supportive, hands-on learning approach and look forward to fostering education, connection, and a great year of fishing with WAM members.
