Women Anglers of Minnesota (WAM) is very excited to be hosting our 2024 WAM Ice Fishing Tournament complete with $3,200 in cash prizes! This single-person, catch-and-release tournament offers a variety of ways for anglers of all skill levels to win!
Top 5 - Stringer of 10 panfish - $1,500
Random Derby Style Drawings - $1,250
Ice Slam & Biggest Other Fish - $450
The tournament will take place in the designated community area with pre-drilled holes.

WHEN: Friday, February 23 - Saturday, February 24, 2024
WHO: Ages 8+ and a member of Women Anglers of Minnesota.
Ages 8-16 must have adult present.

Campfire Bay Resort - Make your reservations at 218-575-2432 or email vacation@campfirebayresort.com. Most 4-bedroom cabins sleep up to 8 people with everyone having their own bed/futon at an affordable rate of $274.88 per night including tax. The 2-bedroom cabins include queen beds and futons at $213.62 per night. (Prices may vary based on specific cabin). Please try to fill up these cabins so we can accommodate everyone!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
This year's members-only (ages 8+), catch-and-release fishing tournament is a single-person tournament, but you are allowed to pair up and fish with another participant. All participants will fish in the community area from pre-drilled holes. Portable ice shacks are allowed, but no permanent shacks are permitted. Fish will be entered via the FishDonkey App, and the longest total panfish stringer length will win (crappie, sunfish, or perch). More rules and details will be disclosed at the mandatory rules meeting.

Volunteers Needed!!
Volunteers are needed Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning
Members who volunteer for two days without participating in the tournament receive free housing and meals

OFFICIAL WAM WAIVER FOR 2024 WAM ICE FISHING TOURNAMENT
By registering for this event, you are agreeing to the following:
RISK AND LIABILITY
I understand that participating in a fishing tournament is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter unless I am medically able. I assume any and all risks associated with this fishing trip, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown. Knowing these facts and in consideration of the acceptance of my application and application fee by Women Anglers of Minnesota (WAM), I hereby, for myself, my executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, agree not to sue and waive, release and discharge WAM, other competitors, hosts, sponsors, volunteers, and tournament officials, including their agents, employees, or assigns from all claims or liability of death, personal injury, or property damage of any kind arising out of or in the course of my participation in this event. I am at least 12 years of age. I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the tournament rules. If under 12 years of age, a parent must sign a release at the time of registration at the tournament.
ALCOHOL & DRUG POLICY
WAM participants should not consume alcohol in the boat or on the ice while participating in this WAM-sponsored trip. Illegal drugs of any kind are also not allowed. Any violation of this policy may result in a participant being asked to leave without a refund.
PERSONAL CONDUCT
WAM encourages all members to show respect for others, both inside and outside of the organization. Conduct by anyone during any part of the event that is illegal, violent, dangerous, irresponsibly puts others at risk, or is conduct that reflects poorly on Women Anglers of Minnesota may result in the member being asked to leave and no refunds will be provided.
CANCELLATIONS: In the event that you need to cancel, or if this tournament is canceled due to severe weather, no refunds will be provided.
COVID-19 RISK
By registering for this event, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending this event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Women Anglers of Minnesota or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. You also agree that you will not attend if you have COVID-19.
MEDIA RELEASE
I grant WAM the right to use photographs, video, and information concerning my participation in this tournament for any internal WAM or third-party media.
