Are you ready to learn the basics of ice fishing? Join us on Saturday, January 11th, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM on beautiful Lake Osakis for a hands-on introduction to this winter pastime.  Lunch will be included!

What You'll Learn:

• Choosing the Right Gear: Tips on selecting the perfect rod, reels, and tackle for ice fishing.
• Baits and Setups: Discover the best bait and techniques to reel in your catch.
• Using an Auger: Learn how to safely drill holes in the ice.
• Reading Electronics: Understand how to use fish finders and other tools to locate fish including Livescope.   
• Setting Up a Hub: Get guidance on setting up your shelter.

What to Bring:

• Bring what you have, but if you're short on gear --we’ve got you covered!
• Be sure to dress warmly with layers, gloves, and sturdy winter boots.

Fishing After the Workshop:

After the instructional session, stick around to put your new skills to the test! Participants are welcome to join us for a fun fishing experience on the lake. Lake Osakis Guide Service will be assisting us, so we're sure to be on fish!

This event is open to all members, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your ice fishing skills.
